Phlebotomy students from the Dr. Benjamin L. Hooks Job Corps Center helped the United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots sort toys to be distributed for children throughout the Memphis and Mid-South Area. The students and Marine Corps prepared gifts for over 8,000 children. The students worked in a warehouse donated for the use of the sorting of toys. The building had no heat and the conditions inside the building were very cold. They all worked very hard under the extreme conditions to make sure the gifts were prepared and distributed to the children.
