Hooks Job Corps student Jeremy completed the carpentry trade and received his GED at the Hooks center in Memphis, TN. Jeremy also completed a 4 month paid internship at the Memphis Area Transit Authority. He worked on the restoration on the wooden trolleys that run through downtown Memphis. After completing his internship Jeremy was offered a job at MATA. MATA is paying for Jeremy to receive his CDL license so he may one day drive a MATA bus or operate one of the trolleys.
