“Parrandas” are  musical activities given from house to  house during the Christmas Season, similar to what is known as “Carolling.”  29 students from the Security Officer Trade and Cement Masonry Trade from Barranquitas Job Corps Academy, along with their Instructors, the IT Specialist, the Bus Driver and one of the National Guard Recruiters, visited La Casa del Veterano in Juana Diaz,  Puerto Rico.  We sang and played christmas songs for almost two hours to cheer up these Veterans that live in this home. The experience of spending quality time with a Veterans and talking to them was very well appreciated by both parts.
