January 12, 2012 as a ‘Welcome Back!’ from Christmas vacation the BJCA EMT Academy embarked on a second day of “Team Building” adventure.  We returned to El Yunque Rainforest and this time the class chose the “La Mina Falls” hike, a one hour hike downhill along the river to a 39′ waterfall with a natural springs pool. The hike down was the easy part-the 2 hour hike back uphill was the challenge! But the students, together, rejoined as a team while they physically challenged themselves once again!
