Thirteen of students from Bamberg Job Corps Center volunteered on Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Students left from the center at 7:00 a.m. that morning to be on time for the Pet Expo in Charleston, SC.
This all day event is held every year at the North Charleston Fair Grounds and is sponsored by the Charleston Post and Courier Newspaper, which means this will be an excellent project to advertise all the work we do at BJCC. Meals was provided for the students. The students stated they had a good time.
The students that attended the event are Amber Myers, Angel Wright, Alyssa Brown, Andre McRae, Patience Connelley, Brittany Barker, Tami Davis, Fatima Hicks, James Boykin, III, Joyce Motley, Kevin Holmes, Lacey Jordan, and Twanda Ware.
