Staff and students take on a year project

The Bamberg Job Corps staff and students has taken on a year long project. The project will consist of giving Toiletry items to the Cheese and Cracker Box of Bamberg, SC. The Cheese and Cracker Box is an Emergency Food and Clothing Bank where local residents can go to received food and clothing. The students and staff will be given Toiletry items monthly. We began in the August. Some items that were given were toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, deordorant, toilet paper, bleach, washing powder, and feminine products.
Enid Bishop, 90, who operates Bamberg County’s emergency food and clothing bank, is always taking donations from businesses and organizations. She is willing to always give to others from her heart and she is always thinking of others.
