The Bamberg Job Corps is pride to have met our National Director of Job Corps on Wednesday, September 1, 2010.  It was an honor and indeed a pleasure to have Ms. Edna Primrose on our center.  Ms. Primrose toured our entire center and she had the opportunity to come to each  Career Mentoring Team (CMT) training to see for herself what each trade is doing and what is being taught during this time.  Our CMT training is scheduled for every Wednesday at 2:00 p.m.  All students report to their chosen trade and each manager over that trade along with staff is responsible for educational lessons and assignments that will improve the character, self-esteem and moral of the students.  After Ms. Primrose completed her tour, she enjoyed tasty hors d’oeuvres prepared by our very own, Culinary Arts students.  The instructor of this trade is Rosemary Glynn.  Also visiting on this day was Kim Addair, Program Manager for DESI-Dynamic Educational Systems, Inc.  Our Center Director Eric Jones was so overwhelmed with the kindess and professionalism showed to Ms. Primrose by the students.  Thank you for visiting our center Ms. Primrose. It was truly a delight.
