The General Educational Development Test (GED) is given monthly here at the Bamberg Job Corps Center. The center has slots for 20 students/individuals to take the GED Test. Citizens from the community are welcome to join our students on center to take the GED Test. Normally, each month, there are on an average 8-10 students who are prepared and ready to take the GED Test.
Eight students took the test on July 27th and out of the eight, four students passed. The students were Amber Myers, Plumbing Trade; Melissa Gregg, Office Administration Trade; Donte Woodly, Carpentry Trade; and Zunita Mattison, Caparentry Trade. Amber scored the highest of the four with a score of 2350. Ms. Deloris Donaldson, BJCC GED Instructor works very hard in preparing the students and getting the ready for the test in hopes that the students pass the first time.
The next time the GED Test will be given is August 17th starting promptly at 8:00 a.m.
