The Community Industry Council and the Community Relations Council Luncheon was held together on September 16, 2010 at 11:30 a.m.  Some individuals had a request to tour the center which was done at 10:00 a.m. before the luncheon.  The luncheon consisted close to the 100 individuals.  There in were over 40businesses from varies areas to include Greenville, Orangeburg, Denmark, Florence, Sumter, Aiken and Columbia.  Some of the companies were Citadel Broadcasting, South Carolina Pathway, Greenville County Workforce Development, Bamberg County Disability and Special Needs Board, President of Denmark Technical College, Veterans Affairs, Chamber of Commerce, South Carolina Gear Up and so many more.  This was the largest luncheon that has been on center involving the Community Industry and Community Relations Councils in a long time.  The speaker for the occasion was our very own, Eric Jones, Center Director.  We also had in attendance Carmen Reynolds, Program Manager for Outreach and Admissions, Fredrick Davis, Director of Outreach and Admissions/Career Transition, managers and  Trade Instructors.  The delicious meal was prepared and served by our Culinary Arts trade.  We are looking to form better partnerships with the businesses that are a part of us and gained new ones from other businesses.
