They were accompanied by Kenneth Harris, the Cement Masonry Instructor and Evelyn Stanley, the Business Community Liaison.  The students were looking forward to educational and fun-filled day.  They wanted to see just how large the Holcim plant was that they had heard so much about through their instructor.  They found out on how large it was and so much more.
They students who attended the trip were Shaneek Buckler Jean Denezaire, Tierre Griffin, Mykhel Lewis, Tia Mack, JaQuan Sanders, and Terrance Griffin. Besides of the day of learning about the different colored cements, aggregates which is the main component by volume of concrete that are used in many other applications, and masonry.  Students toured the entire plant and afterwards Holcim treated the Job Corps students with lunch from Subway.  Students were astonished.
