This week the Wellness Dept. held a Health Fair in conjunction with the SGA Quarterly Blood Drive. During the Health Fair speakers from the community came and spoke to students about various topics from healthy eating choices, to smoking cessation. Then in the afternoon, the student body engaged in outdoor activities to get them moving; such as softball, waterslides, ping pong, and in the air conditioned fieldhouse various card games took place. The SGA held its quarterly Red Cross blood drive in the gymnasium. The American Red Cross is always impressed by the number of students that participate in the drive and give the gift of life at this event. Its always impressive to get the report back on the number of units donated! Thanks to ALL the students, staff, and the Red Cross that make it a success.
