IndyPendence Job Corps, (Atterbury Job Corps satellite center), in Indianapolis Indiana is home to an all-female non-residential Job Corps training center whose students are known as “Diamonds”. One of those Diamonds recently was shining so bright, that it led to an employment opportunity. Kimmea Jackson obtained her High School Diploma and Office Administration certification both at IndyPendece. She completed the program on September 11th, 2015 and was able to secure employment with American Business Cooperation before her separation date. American Business Cooperation works in conjunction with Job Corps to provide innovative and effective employment, training, and related services. When CTR instructor Ms. Nicole El was asked by American Business Corporation for a good candidate, Kimmea’s respectfulness, punctuality and overall great employability skills came to mind, and was a perfect fit for their Front Desk Administration position. Kimmea is a star example of one of the CTR mottos “Always carry yourself in respectable and employable manner because you never know who is looking to give you your next big break”. Congratulations Kimmea, and Shine on!
