IndyPendence students in CPP, (Career Preparation Period), took an off-center field trip to Ivy Tech Community College and to the local Work One office in downtown Indy to look at their options in Higher Education and to learn about the job placement services that Work One offices offer. Left to right, Latrice Radford, Asia Duckworth, Jasmine Chadwick, & Stephanie Graham. The girls were super excited to tour the college. They learned about all the degrees and certificate programs that Ivy Tech had to offer. In addition, outside of the job search assistance, they were very surprised by the Training Opportunities that Work One offices offer, such as Healthcare certifications and Welding courses. It was a full day of education for all.
