INDY DIAMONDS BECOMING COMMUNITY CRUSADERS

IndyPendence Diamonds filled used purses with toiletries for the homeless. Trainee’s and staff donated gently used purses and toiletries items (deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair care products, feminine care products and body wash). Brandi Lyle-Wilson took the lead in organizing the Indy Diamonds to address the needs of homeless women in the downtown community. The ladies filled over 30 bags and donated them to the Salvation Army. They were able to see how the bags made a difference in the women’s lives. The Indy Diamonds learned that giving back is rewarding, and with last week’s staff donation of a bicycle to another community event, IndyPendence are becoming known in the Indianapolis area as Community Crusaders!! Way to go Diamonds, You are Truly Shining!!
