DeAngelo Dee has been accepted into the Advanced Training program at the Red Rock Job Corps Center located in Lopez, Pennsylvania. This A.T program is specifically designed for students who wish to obtain a career helping others. At Red Rock, DeAngelo will be afforded the opportunity to pursue a career as a HSW (Human Service Worker) with emphasis placed upon his desire to become a Residential Advisor. Training includes Dormitory management, Counseling fundamentals, Crisis intervention, and Mediation facilitation; all of which are vastly relevant requirements for professional success in this highly favored career path.
Mr. DeAngelo Dee is a native of Kankakee, Illinois. While a student at AJCC he was very focused, persevering, and equally active during his stint here. These attributes will no doubt greatly assist Mr. Dee during his rigorous Advanced Training studies at the Red Rock Job Corps Center. This center’s HSW curriculum also requires their students to participate in Leadership roles during their tenure. There are myriad career opportunities for HSW graduates. From Group, Academic, Youth, and Treatment programs, to Community Health agencies, and Residential facilities. No matter the challenge, DeAngelo Dee is ready for the task and
