In a special partnership, Atterbury and IndyPendence Job Corps Service Trade classes continue a one of a kind pilot program with National Able Network to provide Retail Service Skills training to our students that will impart upon them the knowledge and tools to find employment at a “Middle Skills” level with major Retail companies. While our students receive solid hands-on technical skills in their classes, such as Office Administration, this retail training will enhance and provide extensive knowledge in relationships building, sales training, and one-to-one customer service, that is essential in the retail industry. At the end of this part-time 4 week training, students will be directly connected to the decision makers that do hiring for retailers, through a Hiring Fair that will be only for graduates of this pilot program. Wal-Mart, Best Buy, and many others will soon be clamoring for our graduates!
