What: College Basketball Try-Outs and Scholarship tour

Residential Advisor Mr. Haymon, (submitted 3 articles this week), and took 6 students up to Fort Wayne Indiana to try out for the Indiana Tech University basketball team. The students went through rigorous drills and exercises. Students were greeted by the head coach and assistant coach. Our students were the only students allowed in the gym to try-out, and with the opportunity to earn a basketball scholarship on the line. The Coaches also gave us a tour of the entire campus, including the dorms, and business center. We had three students that qualified to apply, and three were accepted to Indiana Tech . This was an experience of a lifetime for our students and changed a few students thoughts on pursuing higher education. Thanks to CSM Mr. Jenkins for setting up the opportunity.
