Graduate Rikia Grayson from the Atlanta Job Corps Center is a proud employee of the Zoo Atlanta. As an employee Rikia is a member of the Green Team. She assists all Zoo departments with development and implementation of departmental green goals, supplying resources, ideals and documentation of progress. Each department has a designated Green Representative and Rikia meets with them to discuss their green initiatives. Rikia Grayson gives thanks to the Atlanta Job Corps Center for giving her a start with green training. She learned a variety of techniques to help reduce her carbon foot print and to share ideas in the workplace to help others become more responsible. Rikia credits the Atlanta Job Corps Center with the idea of old cell phone recycling. This initiative helps the environment and raises money for gorilla conservation. The Atlanta Job Corps Center is very proud of Rikia Grayson she is our Greening Star.
