Tamara, 21-Years old, Manatí, Puerto Rico

Before Tamara joined Arecibo Job Corps, she only had a technical degree in the nursing. She worked as a Practical Nurse in the Industrial School for Women in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico and at the Manatí Medical Center.  She enrolled the Off-Center Training program at Arecibo Job Corps and nearly 17 months later:

• Obtained an Associate Degree in Nurse Science

• received outstanding grades during her studies

• Her new goals are to work hard to obtain a BA and finish with a Masters Degree in Critical Care
