Muhlenberg Health Trade students and instructors received an invitation to Greenville Nursing & Rehabilitation Home to celebrate CNA (Certified Nursing Assistants) Week. Events kicked off on June 20 and students participated with both staff and residents throughout the week in activities such as outdoor contests, water games, singing, and ‘Around the World’ just to name a few.
In conjunction with the fun activities and celebration, our health trade students reap the benefits of hands-on skill training in a live medical setting; paving the path for job placement and community connections. Residents at Greenville Nursing always look forward to MJCC’s health trade staff and students volunteering. Just ask Resident, Vickki Johnson who recently wrote a letter thanking both. She stated, “They treat us like family members; they are kind, sweet, smart and have a lot of love to give; always helping others with their whole heart.” MJCC’s medical staff and students will continue contributing time and enjoying future events with Greenville Nursing throughout the course of the summer.
