Albuquerque Job Corps Makes a Committment to Community Service

Student leaders serving the special meal

The Albuquerque Job Corps is all about assuring our students are giving back to the commentary in exchange for the tremendous opportunity they have to further their education and get job training. Under the direction of mainly Mr. Manny Martinez, our recreation Manager and Ms. Tonya School, the Soaring Eagles Coordinator, our student’s government, the students get to go out into the community on a regular basis.

Recently they again helped serve a grand luncheon at the North Valley Senior Center. They have been helping with this event for years. The place was packed and there was wonderful entertainment including, dancing, music and song. The students and staff helped set up, prepare and serve the meal to a packed house and then helped with the cleaning up. The students remarked on how satisfying it is to help these folks.
