It was hard earned money that was given to Linus. It took months to collect and miles to run, but in the end $2442.50 was presented to this deserving non profit organization.
Alaska Job Corps Student Government hosted a fundraiser race to earn the money. Alaska Job Corps students and staff ran the race, along with the community. All of the proceeds were given to the Project Linus Organization which knits, sews and distributes blankets to traumatized children and babies. Project Linus is a national organization, with a strong Alaska Chapter.
