Tulsa Job Corps Student Kyah Wiggins

Tulsa Job Corps Student Kyah Wiggins

Kyah Wiggins began Tulsa Job Corps at a time when our trainees attended virtual classes for two months, she was present in classes this way and later was able to become a resident at Tulsa Job Corps. Kyah Wiggins waited for a chance to attend Tulsa Job Corps for a year, Admissions Counselor Donna Chester somehow encouraged her not to give up. At last, after a year her time came and already having her high school diploma, she only needed to complete security.

Today, Kyah has her armed license and has been accepted in the Advance Training for Woodland Fires at Weber Basin Job Corps in Ogden, Utah.  Kyah Wiggins was the only female in her trade to which she handled that position with poise and grace, beating the guys out at the gun range, which is not a small feat.  Kyah has been an ambassador at Job Corps welcoming new students, served as a student government association member, Leader of the Tulsa Job Corps Color Guard and security trade cadet commander.
