Blue Ridge Job Corps has joined forces with Flatwoods Job Corps to help a family in need.  During Make A Difference Day, Blue Ridge Students found that there is a family in desperate need of some cleaning and reconstruction of some rooms in their home.  BRJCC SGA and Community Service Coordinator, along with our local Department of Social Services Guardian Angel Program, extended the opportunity to Flatwoods JCC to enlist student volunteers in the construction and home repair trades to help get a clients home “suitable for living” again.  Students will do some heavy duty cleaning and repair bathrooms and walls at the home.  This will hopefully become a partnership with our county to help more families in need of home repairs and volunteer help.
