Flint Genesee Job Corps Students Make a Difference in the Community

A special article was in the CPS Courier Newspaper of Flint Genesee Job Corps students giving  back to the community in a big way by participating in the Make a Difference Day event, assisting 13 organizations to include big Brothers Bib Sisters of greater Flint, American Cancer Society – Breast Cancer Walk, Foster Hope- Shy – Safe Home for Youth, New Jerusalem Baptist Church, Catholic Charities Community Closet and Soup Kitchen, Carriage Town Ministries, Esther Lady Society Banquet, Sandi’s Catering, Disability Network, Topology, Flint Art Project, Habitat for Humanity, Mott Public Park.    The students were proud of their accomplishments and the community  appreciated their work, seeing how young people can make a difference in the improvement of lives of others.
