Pinellas County Job Corps helped paint at Pinellas Hope.  Pinellas Hope is our homeless shelter that is run by Catholic Charities.  Pinellas County Job Corps Center has partnered with Pinellas Hope to supply volunteers on a monthly basis for projects that they need help with – this month was painting 10 one person care units.  The little houses are used when a person comes back from the hospital and needs more shelter then the tents can provide.  Pinellas Hope has 300 tents at their facility.  It was a great experience for our students because they saw first hand that being homeless can effect anyone.  Pinellas County Job Corps had 19 students participate in the event.
