Lt. General Russel Honore’ captivated the students and staffs of the Phoenix Job in a presentation on “Leadership”. This event was held in the gym with a full slide presentation on a large screen format. General Honore’ spoke on the importance of being prepared at all cost. He also made several reference to his experiences as the head of the Response Team during the hurricane Katrina disaster. With a booming deep voice and a pool stick in hand as a pointer, he challenged everyone to be the best that they can be. A reception was held in his honor with numerous guest from the political and business community. General Russel signed several copies of his book entitled, “Survival – How a Culture of Preparedness Can Save You and Your Family From Disasters.” Several photographs were also taken with the general. This event was spearheaded by Brigadier General Augusta Collins who serves on the Board of Directors of MINACT Inc.
