Muhlenberg Job Corps Student job shadows with local Sheriff

Muhlenberg Co Sheriff, Curtis McGehee; James Diehl, Student; and County Judge, Brian Wiggins

The Muhlenberg County Sheriff reported to the Muhlenberg Job Corps Center on Friday, February 12th at 8am to pick up Job Corps student, James Diehl.  One would think the student would be in trouble with the law, but in fact, the student was given the opportunity to job shadow with Muhlenberg County Sheriff, Curtis McGehee.  National Groundhog Job Shadow Day occurs during the month of February and the center reaches out to the community for student shadowing experiences beyond the scope of their learning at the center.  Student Diehl had the opportunity to visit numerous community leaders, including Muhlenberg County Judge, Brian Wiggins.

Student James Diehl is from Covington, Tennessee and is a Certified Nursing Assistant trade completer.  He is currently furthering his education by attending courses at the Madisonville Community College while still enrolled in the Job Corps program.
