On  August 26,2015 Kittrell held its Monthly Awards Program. Students were recognized for exhibiting positive behavior and performance on Center. Center Director Choice students were Sharod Wallace and Erica Cadlett-Johnson. Other Departments and students were recognized for the following awards; Stick and Stay included Center Director Award Deputy Center Director Awards, BCL Community Service Awards,  Non-Res Award, High School, GED, E&T, CTT Award, SGA Student Leadership Award, Safety & Security Award,  Success Team Award, Room of the Month Award, Dorm of the Month and  CSIO Award. During the awards program various  students provided entertainment with comedy, singing and dancing.
