Congressman GK Butterfield visited Kittrell Job Corps Center on November 10, 2015.  He was joined by two members of his District  Offices, Annette Taylor, Director of Community Engagement (Durham) and Reginald Speight, Director of Economic Development (Wilson). He met with Kittrell Job Corps Center Director, staff and students. During our meeting, program updates were provided, program funding, employer  partnerships and community involvement. Congressman Butterfield also met with members of the Student Government Association and others  during lunch. Students shared their Job Corps experience,  trade skills    obtained and long term goals.  The Congressman inquired about challenges facing Kittrell Job Corps specifically and Job Corps in general. The  Congressman also pledged his continued support and advocacy for this important and necessary work.
