On Thursday, June 23rd, students from the Carpentry, Welding, Facilities Maintenance, and Health Care trades attended the SkillsUSA Conference at Bartle Hall in Kansas City, Missouri. This yearly conference brings people together that attend community colleges and trade schools to showcase their talents. A wide array of trades were represented. Additionally, many employers also attended, and students were able to speak with them to get employment information.
